1. Chair Michael Nathan opened with a catalogue of things they accomplished as a committee in the last year.  With GZA, Geo Environmental Services, SBSC created a list of priorities; reduced the cost of water testing by $20,000/annually; arranged a $2500 budget for education; finished Lake Management Report; arranged $15,000 budget for removal of Water Chestnuts, and working with Tri-Town Health on causes of, and response to, cyano-bacteria blooms. He wanted SBSC to be proud of their accomplishments.
   1. Arrange to submit Lake Management Plan to SB and also to meet with SB 3 times a year as Chuck Cardillo requested. Create list of deliverables that are realistic to report to SB
   1. Don Chabon discussed an addition to their report (discussed at last meeting)
   1. Different members are working on different areas of concern and reporting back to SBSC. For example – Cyano-Bacteria and dredging were two major concerns
   1. Anita Schwerner reminded SBSC that at the last SB meeting it was suggested that SBSC be dissolved. However, the suggestion was voted down by SB.  SBSC member, Laurie Richman, expressed the opinion “whoever is on this Commission must be supportive.” She continued, since Jamie Minnacci suggested the dissolution SBSC, she did not seem supportive. There was a brief discussion but the group seemed to move on to another topic
   1. There are 9 members on SBSC but only 7 can vote. SBSC requested that all 9 

be allowed to vote. However, that would require a change in the bylaw so it cannot happen this year.
